Michael Osborn, author of Michael Osborn on Metaphor and Style, will appear at the Southern Festival of Books: A Celebration of the Written WordSM
The three-day Festival annually welcomes more than 200 authors from throughout the nation and in every genre for readings, panel discussions and book signings. Hear from and meet some of America’s foremost writers in fiction, history, mystery, food, biography, travel, poetry and children’s literature among others. It is free and open to the public. No advance registration or tickets are required. All seating is on a first-come basis.

Location: War Memorial Plaza and Main Public Library, Nashville, Tennessee
Author sessions will take place in the main Nashville Public Library (entrance on Church St) and in War Memorial Auditorium.

All author signings take place in the Author Signing Colonnade, located at the top of the steps leading from Legislative Plaza to War Memorial Auditorium.

Michael Osborn is the former president of the National Communication Association and of the Southern States Communication Association. He is a recipient of the NCA’s Golden Anniversary Monograph Award, the Douglas W. Ehninger Distinguished Rhetorical Scholar Award, and the Distinguished Research Award from the University of Memphis. He has authored five books.
