Michigan Notable Book Award Author John Smolens will speak on “POW Camps in the U.P.” at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum.
Smolens is the author of the award-winning Wolf’s Mouth: A Novel— set in a Michigan WWII U.P. prison camp — and other works of fiction.
The Michigan Iron Industry Museum, a branch facility of the Michigan Historical Center, is a community museum serving the heritage of the Marquette Iron Range on Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
